ARBITRATION COURT.

AUCKLAND, September 28. At the Arbitration Court to-day Mr J. Fawcus asked to have the Waihi Company, the Waihi Grand Junction Company, and the Crown mines bound by the engineera' award in respect of the engineers employed by them. Mr Chas. Grosvenor contended that the Junction and the Crown Companies were at present bound by another award. He also objected on behalf of the Waihi Company. The court held that a shop award could not be held to apply to a mining company, and threw out the application.
