THE LICENSING QUESTION
POSITION IN MAINE. WELLINGTON, September 28. With reference to the reported news that Maine had reverted to license after over 50 years no-licen&e, the Rev. J. Dawson cabled to America the following : '' Alliance request you to cable what Maine vote, and what signify." The reply received was :—" Maine vote prohibition victory."
