Mr Barnes said that though the Labour party had the same misgivings of the continued efficiency of trade unions under the Insurance Bill, it would rapport the second reading, but its future action would be largely determined by alterations in committer The Labour party was unable to agree to the clause depriving trade unions of the full control of their funds. The Labour party would insist that all unemployed benefits be distributed through the trade unions.
