LISBON, May 29. The elections for the Constituent Assembly passed over without incident. The parties who were hostile to the Republic were not taking part. . Practically all the 231 deputies who wore returned are Republican, with a few Socialists. There is expected to be no organised Opposition in the Assembly. The elections in the Oporto district passed off tranquilly.
