Five thousand people were present at a demonstration at Port Elizabeth in connection with .a criminal assault on a girl on a lonely road. A native has been arrested.
At an exciting meeting; from -which numerous natives were ejected, a resolution was enthusiastically carried in favour of prohibiting natives from being at large at night.
