Mr A. C. Robinson, for a number of years in business as a typewriter agent in Timaru, has invented a marine engine brake device to prevent the racing >f marine engines occasioned by propellers being liftd out of the water in stormy weather. Engineers have reported favourably on the inventi'ja, and a company has been formed to place it on the market.
