UNREST IN INDIA.

CALCUTTA, April 5. The police raided the residence of Mohan Roy, a wealthy land-owner, and seized a quantity of picric acid, dynamite, and a complete bank note plant. Roy and four others were arrested. A train was maliciously wrecked at Dinapur. An Indian was killed and three Europeans seriously injured.

April 8. Further search shows that Mohan Roy’s residence was only a coining den, while the arms manufactured were intended for nothing more than self-defence.
