At the Wilts Yeomanry dinner Six J. Fuller (Governor-elect of Victoria), responding to the toast of his health, said he would carry to Australia the recollection of the efficiency of the voluntary ■system in England. If Australia were armed with the same efficiency under compulsory training, then the Imperial spirit would carry the Empire on undefeated all the time.
