NO LICENSE COMPANY.

WANGANUI, February 13. Messrs T. E. Taylor and C. H. Poole concluded their no-license campaign this evening, when the Opera House was crowded. The speakers had a very fine reception, and were well cheered at the conclusion. Seen after the meeting, the Rev. J. Dawson, general secretary of the rllianoe, said that at the last meeting of the executive, after careful consideration with the party throughout the Dominion, the following manifesto was agreed upon —(1) That a bill shall be introduced in next session of Parliament amending the beer Duty Act, so as to bring breweries under the power of the local option vote; (2) that no candidate for Parliament who maintains the present undemocratic threefifths majority can have the support of the New Zealand Alliance; (3) that every member of the present House and every person who announces himself a candidate shall bo requested to state plainly what his attitude shall be on the majority question.
