WOOL AND GRAIN STORE EMPLOYEES.
NAPIER, January 20. A conference held this afternoon between representatives of the Napier Wool and Grain Store Employers' Union and the employees, arrived at an agreement satisfactory to both parties, the term* being as follow : —A wage of £2 7s 6d for a week of 44 hoars, overtime to be at the rate of time and a-quarter for th* first three hours and time and a-half fol each hour afterwards, time and a-half to be paid for holidays. Preference to unionists was agreed to, and men engaged in manure mixing are to receive Is peT day extra.
