WHEREAS by and unde* the provisions o£ Section 44 of “The Education Act, 1908,” the Education Board oi a District has power to promote the Establishorient of School Districts and to oefine the limits thereof; and has power also to alter such limits and to divide any School District into two or more School Districts or Parts of such Districts into one; and* ■whereas it is expedient to promote ine Establishment of the School Districts of Kauroo, Tapui, Benhar, V> haretoa, Clydevale, Greenfield, Ngapuna, Efindon Railway, the Education Board, of the District of Otago doth hereby resolve to establish The same and thev are hereby established, •with the Limits and Boundaries hereinafter appearing—that is to say: KAUROO. All that area bounded on the north-east by the Kakanui River from the northeastern boundary of Block IV, Kauroo Survfey District, to the north-western earner of Block IX, Oamaru Survey.
