SYDNEY, September 26. The murdered man found in the river Darling is supposed to be a Russian named j Eumond, who, with a mace named Senkovitch, passed through iiourke a fortnight ago. Senkovitch subsequently returned through Bcrarke to Sydney, but has since disappeared. He cannot speak English, and is about 20 years old. The Russian for whom the police are searching is supposed to have been a servant of the murdered man. It is stated that when he was in Sydney the latter spent money lavishly, but he seemed desirous of getting away from the city. He did not show much in the public streets.
