PRESS CABLEGRAMS

SYDNEY, September 19.

Cardinal Moran, at the opening of a new church, made a strong attack on Freemasonry. Referring to the paucity of news cabled regarding the Eucharistic Congress at Montreal, the Cardinal declared that some of the misleading cablegrams sent to this country were evidence of the control of Continental Freemasons, and it was owing to their influence that an event wherein the whole civilised world was interested was .so briefly mentioned. He warned the people to be on their guard regarding some of the cablegrams sent from the Old World.
