WERAROA TRAINING FARM.

MINISTERIAL VISIT. LEVIN, September 16. The Minister of Education had the Auckland expres3 train specially stopped at Levin this afternoon to enable him to inspect the boys at the Weraroa Training Farm. He was received by Major Burlinson at the head of the boys, and musical honours were rendered by the band. Addresses of welcome were given by the Mayor of Levin and by the head of the institution, after which the Minister expressed pleasure at the heartiness of the reception and his appreciation of the congratulations tendered to him on his being selected as the New Zealand representative at the functions connected with the opening of the South African Federation Parliament. It was, he said an astonishing event and a testimonial to the efficacy of British methods that so soon after the Anglo-Boer war both razees were united, and the federation of the former colonies effected.
