NOTICE TO PRESENT-DAY WRITERS.
There has not been an Old Writers' Week yet, within my recollection, that has nor, caused trouble to present-day writers, and this year it is the same old tale of little people who pay no hoed to my notices that during Old Week or Weeks no letters can be received' from present-day writers. I am very, very sorry for their disappointment; but what can I do? The Witness will not grow any bigger just because I want more space. I have now 75 letters in hand from Little Folk, and I don't suppose I shall have space to print one of them. Seventy-five disappointed little people! And I know there will be more Defore this weak is out. But I cannot guarantee that one of those I have in hand, or .receive between now and September 24-, will go into the Witness. Those who are writing- now write at their own risk of being disappointed.
