FIGHTING CONSUMPTION
LONDON, June 12. Dr Camak Wilkinson is establishing a tuberculin dispensary at.. Lambeth for the treatment of consumption, which had been, successful hi Australia. Six months’ treatment cost only £l, and is therefore, unlike most sanatoria, applicable to the poorest. Mr Cyril Maude, the actor, states that Dr Wilkinson cured his brother in Australia, and he has promised a benefit matinee at the Playhouse Theatre on behalf of the dispensary. Sir Bartle Frere also supports the scheme.
