BOATING DISASTER

CAPETOWN, June 8. News from Delagoa Bay states that an excursion boat capsized at Inyak and that 32 people were drowned. Further news from Delagoa Bay regarding the boating excursion disaster states that the entire party of 32 were drowned at Inyak. They were mostly Portuguese, and included nine children. The boat capsized in a whirlpool, and there followed a terrible scene, many of the victims being devoured by sharks. All efforts to succour them proved impossible.
