NEW PLYMOUTH, May 27. The Taranaki Petroleum Company won 100 barrels of oil during the week—equalto 4200 gallons. No. 2 bore is down to a depth of 3030 ft, and the casing is within 12ft of the bottom. During the week No. 2 bore produced 80 barrels, and No. 1 and No. 3 ten each. The manager reports that No. 3 flowed very strongly this morning. Five barrels were obtained, and there is a powerful pressure of gas. No. 2 is flowing freely, with much gas.
