SPECIAL NOTICE TO COUNTRY LITTLE FOLK.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR SHOW DAT. FRIDAY, JUNE 3, 1910. In order to foster the spirit of comradeship amongst both country and town Little Folk, it has .been decided to offer some attraction for this day in addition to the usual custom in the past of having a group photo ana afternoon tea. Will my country friei.ds please note the following: GARDEN PARTY (PARTY TO INSPECT THE WINTER GARDENS). There will be a muster of Little Folk in the Club Room at the Witness Office at 10 a.m. on the morning oi the 3rd June (weather permitting), and a little tour will be taken to the Winter Gardens, returning to town by 12.30. GROUP PHOTO. At 2 p.m. the Little Folk will again assemble in the Club Room, and a Group Photo will be taken of them. I hope there will be a large and representative gathering, as, in addition to the country members, most of our city friends will be on holiday, and will, I am sure, bs glad to meet our country friends. AFTERNOON TEA. As is usual, after the Group Photo an adjournment will be made for afternoon tea, •and this will be made to the best of. our ability quite a sociable little function. This afternoon tea has been famous in past years as a.n opportunity for making the acquaintance of D.L.F. whom one has probably long kr.cwn by name, but never met. ANNUAL SOCIAL. In the evening, of course, as you all krow, will be held the annual social in the Early Settlers' Hall (next Railway Station). A room has been specially set apart for the games, while for the dancers the additional attraction is offered of one of the best—if not THE best hall in the city. Country Little Folk who are thinking of cming into town for Show Week, and who would like to make one of the party, might please communicate with me as early as is convenient, so that I may have some idea of the number to expect for afternoon tea.
