LONDON, May 27.
The Toronto correspondent of The Times telegraphs that Sir William Van Home, chairman of directors of-the Canadian Pacific Railway Company, goes to Australia to advise the Federal Government on the construction of the projected transcontinental railways. MELBOURNE, May 28.
Mr Fisher says in reference to the cablegram that there evidently is a mistake as to Sir William Van Home's mission to Australia. His Government has had no communication with Sir William Van Home.
