WELLINGTON, April 27. Henry James Hansen was charged yesterday with the attempted wilful murder of his son Arthur at Ngunguru on April 15. The hearing lasted until a late hour last night. The accused pleaded " Not guilty," and reserved his defence. He was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. No bail was asked [or. The son, who was shot in the groin by his father, said in evidence that he crawled under the bed after being shot. His father, observing him there, remarked : "Oh, you're there, are you.
