A Gore resident had an experience one evening last week which he is not likely to forget in a hurry. The Standard says that he was on the railway line at East Gore at the time the evening express from the north was .due, but did not hear the apt roach of the train until he was hit in the back by the engine and knocked over, fortunately falling clear of the line. He received no injuries.
