SUPREME COURT SITTINGS.

WELLINGTON, April 30. A~t the Supreme Court to-day Joseph Walker, a seaman, was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment on a charge of stealing a lady's dressing case on the Moeraki. James Stevens, who pleaded guilty at Dannevirke to a charge of wounding with intent, was sentenced to two years; and Henry Williamson (two charges of theft at Stratford) to three months.
