(LIMITED) have received instructions from the Messrs Elliott Bros., who are dissolving partnership, to offer by public auction, at the above time and place, 1 hePlains Station, Stock and Plant, as a going concern, and consisting of: 6304 ACRES Freehold Land, situated on the banks of the Mararoa River, together with an Education Reserve adjoining of 2250 acres, leased at an annual rental of £ll3 8s iOa, the lease expiring on Ist May, 1915. A large proportion of the Freehold is river flat land, which grows very fine grass, wheat, barley, oats, and turnips, the balance being \ery nice rolling clowns and low hills. About 2500 acres are in English grass or under cultivation, and the balance fine native grasses. There arc now 200 acres in turnips—a very good crop. The Property is well fenced and subdivided into a large number of paddocks. The Plains Station is situated 20 miles from Mossburn Railway Station, and The Key Telephone and Post Office is on the property. There is a first-class metal road all the "way'from Mossburn to the Property, the main coach road to Te Anau and Manapouri Lakes passing through the estate. For the breeding and fattening of sheep the Property is hard to beat in Southland. The stock now on it are a very fine lot.
