ABOLITION OF DIVORCE

LONDON, April 29. The Lower House of Convocation, Province of Canterbury, resolved t*> favour the repeal of the Divorce Act of 1857. The committee reported that increased facilities for divorce had resulted in an increase of immorality, and that the present law favoured the rich at the expense of the poor. The true remedy was to abolish divorce altogether.
