TIMBER-STACKERS' STRIKE
MELBOURNE, April 27. The timber-merchants declined the tim-ber-sorters" proposals for a settlement of the strike. April 29. The timber-stackers' strike has been ended. The men, who have been granted three representatives on the new Wages Board, claim to have gained a moral victory.
