Interval Racing.—The owners draw for pen numbers, and each pen, commencing with No. 1 pen, is liberated at intervals of five minutes or more as requested. To be successful in interval racing it is necessary to have your bird or bird'i tossed prev.ously from the race point unless the pigeon ia an* experienced one and has been raced from the same pla.ee. It will then leave the town immediately it is released. In flock-racing you need not go to the race point, as there are always some experienced birds to give the novices a lead. Several old fanciers never send their birds to where the race is from, but jump them. in; but these birds have a lot of flying around the loft.
