ALLEGED ATTEMPTED MURDER.
A FATHER REMANDED
AUCKLAND, April 23.. At the Police Court, Henry James ' Hansen, charged with attempting to murder his son at Ngunguru, was remanded to appear at Whangarei on April 26. The accused's solicitor stated that the injured son was out of danger, and asked for bail. The police opposed the application, urging that the assault was of a murderous character, without any suggestion of dviuk: The application was not pressed.
