DUNEDIN FANCIERS' CLUB.

Treueern, Apologies were received from Messrs T. Rogers, J. Kerr, and T. Snow. i It was resolved that exhibitors of Yorkshire- canaries be allowed to exhibit their i birds in their own cages ! The Building Committee reported that the building inspector had inspected the ! building for the show and passed the same, and the sub-committee had obtained a ! price for lighting the place with electric light. ' The Town Clerk wrote stating that the ! society's letter asking for permission to i hold the show in Massey-Harris Buildings ! would be placed before next meeting of ; the council. I The Secretary reported that the schedules j wcto now ready, and that they had all i been pested to past exhibitors. The New Zealand Kennel Club wrote stating that the following challenge classes had been allotted to the Dunedin Fanciers' Club—viz. : Irish Terriers, Rough Collies, I Deer.hounds, and Pugs (fawn and black). I The New Zealand Cocker Spaniel Club : wirote stating that the ' following trophies had been allotted to the Dunedin Fanciers' Club—viz. : £1 Is cash special, best cocker puppy, dog or bitch, black or a.0.c.; £1 Is, for best cocker dog or bitch, black or ■ a.o.c, entered in open class.—Accepted j with thanks. It was resolved 'that no pigeons belonging to sons of members of the Homing Pigeon Club be allowed to compete in the boys' class. Messrs W. Henderson, F. Rogen, and P. S. Omand wore appointed a Special Prize Committee. . The following were appointed receiving 'stewards:—Messrs T. Snow, R. Conn, V. i Treueern, J. Adair, J. W. Thomson, B. 1 J Finne°ian, T. Leedham, W. Bennett, W. Allan, P. W. Wates, W. Omand, G. Webster;'judge stewards—Messrs R. Hopkins and B. J. Finnegan; superintendent, Mr P. W. Wates.
