IMPERIAL PREFERENCE

THE COLONIAL MISSION

LONDON, April 13.

The Liberal newspapers characterise the Imperial Pioneers, who are lecturing in England, as dumped colonial Protectionists, and ridicule their claim to be nonpolitical. Mr Frank Fox (erstwhile on the Bulletin staff) and Mr David O'Connor (ex-Pcstma.ster-gen.eral of New South Wales) spoke at a meeting of the League of Frontiersmen, and acted as stewards at the opening of a meeting at Walworth. The speakers were severely heckled, and! asked to say who delegated them to take to the platform.
