Mr CoueenSj, \ Superintendent of 'Archaeology at Bombay, has explored mounds, 40 miles east of Haidarabad, containing Buddhist monasteries. In an excavated shrine newfound a crystal bottle containing ;a; silver casket enclosing a golden cylinder*-wherein was evidently one of the nine" portions of Gautama's cremated remains. :
