A DRAMATIC SCENE. WELLINGTON, March 27. j There vra* a rather exciting scene just I after the last race at the Wellington Pony and Galloway Racing Club's meeting yesterday. Ae the "horses were being unsaddled the owner of an unplaced horse threatened the rider of the third horse, accusing him of having interfered with • his horse. There was a demonstration of approval from the public, and the clerk of toe course declared that the owner's complaint was justified, the clerk saying that . he " heard the boys arrange to do it before j the race started." The clerk of the course ! then said, " I have done with it," and he ! took off hi« official regalia and handed it i in to the secretary's office.
