The ordinary meeting of the Southland Land Board was attended by the Commissioner (Mr H. M. Skeet in the chair), and Messrs A. Kinross and D. King. Wan. Eamsay applied, for cash, for section 290. block XVII, Taringatura district, 200 acres. —Approved. Receiver authorised to pay valuation to person entitled. s .. Frances Halfka applied for sections 25-8, block XXI,- Chatton district, 7a 3r 10p.—. Recommended for approval of the Hon. Minister of Lands. An application for the transfer of sections'3 and 4, block XII, Oteramika, Hundred, 538 a 4p, from W. D. Harris to W. W. The transfer of sawmill area 545, Wyndham and Slopedown districts, arid reserve attached, from John Caird to the Wyndham Timber Company (Limited).. was granted subject to Minister's consent. John Caird' applied ,to transfer sawmill sites 547, block 111. Wyndham district (five acres), to the Wyndham Timber Company (Limited). —Approved. \ Mary A. Paterson applied to • sub-lease section. 92. block 11, Seaward Bush, 4a lr 360, to John. Pascoe.— Recommended for Minister's approval, subject to the necessary forms being lodged. ... " The matter of Wm. Sutherland a failure to complv with the residence, find improvement conditions in respect of section 111, Edendale Settlement, was held over for a month.
