The Conference resumed its sitting ea. It was decided, after discussion, that the matter be deferred till it was possible to secure the continuous service of a suitable man. The " Open Parliament" was presided over by Mrs M'Donald, when departmental affairs were discussed. The members joined in a very enjoyable trip to Portobello during the afternoon, the visitors . expressing the pleasure they felt at "the scenery of harbour and bays.
