SIR G. H. REID

SYDNEY, January 19. Sir G. Reid. was tendered a farewell dinner by the Chamber of Commerce. The speakers eulogised bis appointment as High Commissioner. January 21. There was. a. packed representative gathering of citizens at the farewell banquet to Sir G. Reid in the Town Hall. Sir G. Reid declared that all Australia needed was a true representation, in England of a marvellously rich and marvellously empty country.
