At fine Chris'church 'Polio? Court todav Edwin .Tames Sheard pleaded " Guilty " to a charge of having sent a threatening letter to Mrs Alfred Bennett, demanding £2 10s. with intent to steal the same. The evidence showed that in a letter the accused threatened to make revelations that would lead to divorce proceedings. He was committed for sentence to the Supreme Court.
