A hypnotist named Everston, who was giving an exhibition in the music hall ; at Somerville, New Jersey, threw a man named Simpson into a cataleptic trance. { The audience i-oared with laughter at Evcrston's failures to bring Simpson round, until a doctor ran on the stage and declared the man to be dead.
