Th.» Times' speciafi correspondent afi Buenos Aires says that, apart from wheat, maize, and cattle, the Argentine sent to Great Britain in 1908 nearly as much frozen mutton as New Zealand, and two and a-half times more than AustraliaIn view of the danger of the graduai •absorption of the Argentine refrigerating industry by the American trusts, British capitalists should strengthen the hands of independent refrigerating companies, as the British Government did in the case of the Cunard line against the Shipping Trust.
