Quotations : Canterbury and North Island, 3|d. Lamb. — Market very chill. The supply exceeds the demand. Canterbury, 4|d; North Island, 4id, light weights; Canterbury, heavy weights, 4d; North Island, 33d. Beef. — Market steady. New Zealand hinds 3£d; fores, 3id. Butter. — The market remains firm. The Paparoa's butter arrived' in good condition, and sold very freely. Choicest New Zealand, 118s; Australian, 116s; Argentine, 116s; Danish, 1325; Siberian, 110s. Cheese. — Market quiet, but firm. . New Zealand, 575; Canadian, 575.
