LONDON, November 9. The construction of the .oruiser Lio< and her 6ister ship is about to be commenced at Devonport. Each is to cosi two millions, will be 700 ft Jong, weigh 26,350 tons, have a speed of 28 knots, and carry eight 12in guns. November 11. Messrs Walker, Sons, and Co., the wellknown Ceylon merchants in Basinghall street, London, are constructing at Ceylon a graving dock and workshops for the tft» pair of naval and other vessels.
