J. ARNST'S ACTION CHALLENGED.
CHRISTCHURCH, November 10. It is understood that further action is to be taken in regard to tihe dispute oonoeirn- ; r>g the performance of J. Arnst in the Timaru-Christchuroh cycte road race. The legality of Arnst's action in accepting pace from his brother was dealt with by the executive of the League of Wheelmtsn, who found in his favour. It is now submitted, however, that tba matter was one which should be dealt with by the stewards, and that the executive had no authority to hold an inquiry a.nd come to a verdict. The stewards «we being nailed together to discuss the situation.
