Observe that the milk is ° always drawn from the same cow. S. W., Pukerau. — The medicinal treatment of animals poisoned by eating the tutu, plant has been very unsatisfactory. If observed in the early stage, inject tepid water into the stomach and pump it out again, if possible, to produce vomiting. Th-eu give 21b Epsom salts dissolved in water, adding lib treacle and 2oz ginger. Give slowly. Immediate bleeding is regarded by stockmen as the only means of saving the animal.
