CENTRAL OTAGO SHOW.
(Fbou Oum Special Repo^i-kb-I OMAKAU, November 12. Very .fine but windy weather was experienced for the seventeenth annual show of the Central Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association held at Oamkau to-day. The attendance was fairly large,- as may be judged from the gate takings, which amount to close on £15, and many of those present had come from a considerable disxance. ■ Everything passed off - most 6ucoossfully, Tbut conscientious judges keptmatters a bit late. The entries were slightly better than last year, the increase being especially noticeable in ebeep. Dogs also showed^ an increase. The quality of the exhibits was well maintained, but there was not much competition in some of the classes. Apart from the ordinary prizes, the three-guinea cup for the most points in cattle, horses, and sheep was won by Mr John Wilson, and the , one-guinea special prize by Miss G. Sutherland in the produce and sundries section, y. The judges were: — Messrs James Tisdall (Middlemarch), draught horses; J. JR. ; Smith (Naseby), light horses; James Tis- j dall, oattl«; W.
