The contractors have done goocl work in the time, and there are a greet many up-to-date improvements in the new factory. It will be a great boon to the settlers to get their milk into the factory, as at present they have double work by going for their cans again at night to the railway station, as most of them sent their milk to Jkhe Gore factory. Ojur SchooL—Our school was inspected by Mr Hendry lately, and here was a. very good report. General.—Mr Alex. M'Kay was tbe recipient of two books from the niembeirs of the C.E.
