SPRING SHOW. /HASTINGS, October 20. The rnmial spring show of the Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society was opened to-day in fine' weather, with a good attendance. The totil number of entries marks an increase on any previous year, and the quality of the exhibits, especially live stock, is of a high order. October 21 The weather was dull to-day, with occasional light showers, but the attendance for People's Day of the Hawke T s Bay Agricultural and" Pastoral Society's spring show was not affected, theie being an extremely larc;e assemblage of people.
