OLD WRITERS' WEEK.
The: date ioi Old Writers' Week has been fixed fo* the fecond week in December. There may be a number of Little Folk who have lately joined the pfcgfe who will not rnderstand what Old Writers' Week implies For the benefit of thoee let me oxpKin thct once a yeaar a week is set apart for letters from old writers — those who have pa3ssd tbe retiring age of 2( and are no longer active members of our band. On that occasion we have letters from the^e exwriters, and they tell us of their doings since they ceated to be Little Folk. Some v» of Toaiiniscent humour, and .recall the B'easwint days when they were constant contributors to th*, page. This year our Old Writers' Week must be a greater success than any that has gone before. In order to gain that success I want all who read these lines to think of any ex-writsr they kujw, and to make a point of reminding him or her, a» the case may be, that OW Writers' Week is to be held in the feccni week oi December. As tfie time draws near, a«k him -wbether he has sent ,his letter to Dot. Old writers who read this notice will need no reminding, and will, I am sure, in inerrory of the days that axe, gone, give their aid towards celebrating this reunion — a reunion which in a way marks year by year the progress oi our column
