Dandelion wine is good for the liver, and thi3 is how it is made: — Four quarts of the yellow petals of the dandelions. Pour over them Igal of water - which has previously bean boiled and is still quite warm. Stir the petals and cover with a blanket or some thick piece of material. Lat it stand three days, stirring fr-equentlj. Strain the petals from the liquid and boil vigorouslj' for half an hour with ths rind of a lemon, the rind of an orange, a small quantity of ginger, and to each gallon of liquid 3£lb of sugar. -Pour the sugar in while the liquid is boiling, and at the same tim-e ad- rl 1101 10 larxm, sliced. When cool,'ferment with yeast. Let stand for a few days, and put into a. cask or jar. In tyro months or six weeks it is ready for bottling. This b-overage is excellent for persons suffering; with liver complaints.
