Th?re has been no rain to sp«ak of during the past menth, and although feed and water are in the main plentiful throughout the greater portion of the State, the advent 1 of early thunderstorms is bein-g eagerly looked forward to for Uhe promotion of a growth of new feed and the replenishment of tha water supply The bush fire trouble ■is also looming ,abead, and already there have baen several big blazes in the Northern and Central districts. "" In the Winter, district preparations "are being made by several pastoralists for the removal of large, linos of stock, Kynuna, it is Dftid, having arranged to move over 50,000 to other properties belonging to Mr Jowett. Elsewhere no serious pinch has as yet bean felt, but should storms hold off th.er-3 will no doubt be considerable inquiry for i*-eili-ef country as a precautionary measure. There is no movement tc report in tfos stock markets, though one or two of the meat works are again in the mafket, and their buyers are inspecting lin>3s of fat wethers and aged ewes. The metropolitan market has baen kept well supplied, princi- ' pally from the Wost and Central districts, 1 thare being a total absence of fat sheep from the Barling Downs. I
