LONDON, October 19. M. Blanc lost control of his Bleriofc monoplane at the Juvisy carnival, and fell 50ft into the grand stand. Several spectators were injured. At the Doneaster carnival Le Bron covered 22 miles in half an hour. There were 250,(ft)0 spectator* at Le Blanc, -in France, where a, series of tests took .place. N • - M*. Rougzer covered 22 miles, sometimes at the rate of 30 miles per hour, and M. Fannan attained a speed 'of 45 miles an hour. October 21. Mr Farman at the Blackpool carnival covered 47^ miles in 92 minutes, beating Mr Cody's English record. October 22. At the Blackpool aviation display the judges awarded Farman the £2000*pii/.e for his Wednesday's flight. Rougier £720. and Paulhan £280. October 24. Mr Latham made an extraordinary flight at Blackpool when the wind was blowing at the rate of 40 miles an hour. In an Antoinette monoplane he travelled five miles in an hour against the viind and 90 miles with the wind. No other aviators attempted a flight. PARIS. October 19. Comte De Lambert (Russian), aboard a ■Wright biplane, aeroplaned from Juvisy over the Eiffel Tower at a height of 1200 ft, and returned to Juvisy, a distance of 40 to 45 miles, in 55 minutes. The Baroness Delaroche in a biplane tnade a splendid flight, covering 300 metres at Chalons Camp. She is the fir^t .Woman to ventuie alone in an aeioplane. VIENNA, October 24.
