A PRIZE FIELD OF MANGOLDS AT HAWKE'S BAY. This field of mangolds is situated on the North British Freezing Co.'s Puketapu Estate, Hawke's Bay, and obtained the first prize given by the Hawke's Bay A. and P. Society for the best crop of three acres. The estimated yield is 100 tons per acre. The varieties grown were Mammoth Long Red, Yellow Intermediate, Golden Tankard, and Yellow Globe. — Sorrell, photo.
